We are proud to present Jim Dening's album of poetry, pebbles, debris and other poems, a complete collection of 53 poems read by the poet himself.
What's an album of spoken word doing in a catalog of new and experimental music? Well consider that the ancient Greeks made no serious differentiation between "music" and "poetry". Both fell under the protection of the same trio (or trio of trios) of demi-goddesses we have come to know as The Muses, from which music gets its root, muse.

Dening's poetry is of simple sounds, suburban landscapes and ordinary acts filled with symbolism. Listen while following the "score"; the collection originally published in print by Arcade is available here at OKCD as well. For a sample of that experience, click on the "muse"-ical note below!
