Matthew Stewart's song "Take Me" was the 2001 Grand Prize Winner in the San Diego Songwriter's Guild's annual songwriting competition. His song "Just a Habit" received Honorable Mention that same year, and two of his songs from No Stone Unturned, "Heart of the Hurricane" and "Drown" placed in the 1999 competition.
