EDWIN HARKINS has been a member of the Contemporary Chamber Players at the University of Chicago, The Center for New Music at the University of Iowa, the Center for Music Experiment at the University of California, San Diego and the Extended Vocal Techniques Ensemble of UCSD. | |
Harkins has performed trumpet at the Lincoln Center in New York with the Hartford Symphony and as guest soloist with CONTINUUM (1985). As one half of the performance-art duo [THE] (with Philip Larson) he has traveled throughout Europe, Scandinavia, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. His recent recordings include Roger Reynold's Serpent Snapping Eye and Bernard Rand's Canti del Sole and Canti Lunatici. | ||
